Congrats to Team Polk!

I just received the latest issue of The Absolute Sound , and picked my jaw from the floor upon reading the words of Anthony H. Cordesman:

"...I am a little stunned by the Polk LSi-15." "the LSi-15 has an extraordinary mix of treble and midrange performance for the price. The upper octaves are among the smoothest and most detailed at all levels of dynamics that I have heard...No, it is not up to the upper-octave performance of a pair of $35,000.00 Dynaudio Evidence Temptations, but it is also not embarrassed by a direct comparison."

Holy leapin' ringed tweeters, maybe Polk knows what they're doin' by using those CJ Amps in the listening tests!

Kudos to everybody at Polk Audio for this highly-deserved praise. Some of the high-end folks who actually listen to gear are finally taking note!

Maybe I should up to the LSi15's?

I have the LSi9's right now and was slightly disappointed... of course, they are still breaking in right now...

Either way, good news for the Polk team nonetheless!

holy wow, batman! Maybe I'll look into this Lsi series....could be pretty nice! Just to mention a 35,000 dollar speaker and the Lsi15s in one sentence is some damn good praise!

    way to go Polk!

Computer modeling -- lighter, more ridged materials, and high tech manufacturing methods put companies like Polk and Klipsch on the cutting edge. Companies with integrity pass the savings on to us and provide a wicked product to boot.

    Congratulations Polk!!

    Me want some Lsi9's

Its kinda funny,it seems alot of people I know don't give Polk alot of merit until they heard them compared side by side to like priced speakers of other brands. Especially in the smaller bookshelf sizes. Most i hear color the midrange far more than do the Polks. At any rate, side by side comparisons and good reviews like the one above seem to help get attention and turn heads......and ears. Keep up the good work Polk.

congrats polk on the complimentary review of the LSi's, looks like the LSi line is doing exactly what you intended it to, reestablish with hi-ender's that polk is putting out a seriously quality product.

Man, you can't view the reviews online without paying for the magazine ($10) or each review ($3). What gives? It's like they're trying to make money or something. Geez.

Of course, I would never, ever, offer to scan in the article and e-mail it to anybody. Why, that would be downright smarmy and unethical.

    Ahem.

I sure hope you would never do that for me! I really wouldn't appreciate that one bit! That would just ruin my day if you did that. I think I would just have to give up this hobby if that were to happen.

I hope my mailbox never receives anything like that!

    Ahem, indeed!

I mean, if I ever received something like that at my email address ( amsk@lehigh.edu ), I sure would be disappointed in that copyright-neglecting hoodlum.

Why would anyone even consider sending something like that to fast_sas@yahoo.com ?
