Polk Audio RTA-11TL $250: Good price or not....?

I've been working to buy a pair of RTA-11TL black cabinets which look to be in good shape. I posted a query in dollars and sense in another forum with only 1 comment so far. Is $250 or possibly $200 (if I can buy today) a good deal? What would be the issue(s) with this model? I haven't heard a speaker throw a 3-dimensional soundstage like a pair of Monitor 10's did back in the early 80's in an audio salon, one of the most dramatic differences in sonics between speakers I can remember. The other models had the sound collapse into a box between them. Hopefully respondents will have actually heard this model with honest opinions. Thanks!

    Little too high.
    Under $200 is okay price.
They sound different than old monitor series.

Seller has had second thoughts considering cost to replace them. I was honest enough to mention this forum and the upgrades/tweaks that can improve them. Well... guess I'll be on the lookout once more for that bargain.
