Brought the TSx series here in India
Hi Guys,
After a lot of search and research, ended up with the TSx series for a 5.1 Home theater. I have the TSx 330 as fronts, 110B for surrounds, 150B for Center and PSW 100 as sub. Pretty happy, any advice or settings for a great setup. This is driven by a Denon 1713.
Cheers,
Prem

Devani agree, but the kind of conditions we have with loads of rain and dust, the carpet will become a maintenance nightmare. I do have a small carpet placed under the sub-woofer.

You can also put curtains or wall treatments up that will do the same thing as carpet, but is big and open with very little carpet and no curtains and I still enjoy watching a movie, so just do what you can and enjoy!

Very nice setup.
I would go with some room treatments as others have suggested. -

Sorry for late reply, had some trouble accessing Polk forums from Home PC. I get a weird Admin has blocked your account message.
I do have curtains and then a big sofa **** bed that is made up of solid foam. This does act as some kind of sound absorbent. Will definitely do the wall treatment in the coming days.
Here are pictures of the rear and the sofa. (Sorry for bad quality, mobile cam.)
Projector is Acer 5370BD and wall is solid brick wall with paint treated. No dedicated screen as of now but this one itself gives a pretty good picture.

Hi Prem,
The forum was hacked a few weeks ago and it's STILL a mess, which is probably why you've had problems.
I like the color you've painted the room and the ceiling is nice. I'm curious about your rain and dust comment. Do you enter the room from the outside?Political Correctness'.........defined

Hi F1nut,
Yes, the setup is on the terrace and access to the room is from stairs outside. This has its own positives and negatives like I get complete isolation from the main home and the sound doesn't disturb others but to get there in a rain or when I have visitors to HT, they have to take the outside stairs... -
That makes sense now, thanks!Political Correctness'.........defined
