Which is better ex or dx

I'd like to no which is better in listing to hip hop is the DX 6x9s or the EX 6x9s.also does it take a certain amount time for the DX 6x9s to break in.and how much power do i need to push them

    I haven't heard the DX's installed but my friend has the EX's and they sound very good!

    He also has a separate sub, I wasn't sure if you'd be using a sub with your's as well.

    I'd personally go with the EX's myself.
