    Do basses count?

    I lean Fender from a players standpoint, and for some reason loath every Gibson bass I lay my hands on.

    from a Guitarists I have played with standpoint? I've heard both sound brilliant, though will never understand why the tuners on a 3000k+ Les Paul custom can't hold tune for more than a song and a half.

    Below is my Geddy Lee Jazz Bass (black) and a kind I Frankenjazz I pieced together myself.
    Living Room 2 Channel -
    Wiim Ultra. Jolida CD player. Fiio k11 R2R DAC, XTZ as300 Edge amp. Focal Cobalt 826 towers,

    Upstairs 2 Channel Rig -

    Nah, I'm a Markbass guy predominantly. Had horrible luck playing Ampegs, seems the big ampegs just don't agree with me for some reason (though there smaller portaflex amps sounded pretty nice....though many reliablility complaints)

    Markbass = hard on the wallet, but delightfully Easy on my back.
