rt55i
looking for some good advice. blew a tweeter on one of my 55's. according to polk, the latest shipment of tweeters did not arrive and they have no replacement( or suggestions) at this time. has anybody ever tried to use a different model tweeter?

Post in the wanted section in the flea market. Some have spares that they might sell you. I might have one lying around for an rt55, but I believe they're the same. Also check ebayShawn

thanks. i did try ebay based on the model # i found on the tweeter. nothing as of yesterday. i guess what is confusing/frustrating is that there is one on ebay for a rt35i, but the model # in the photo is different even though both decsriptions (per polk) call it a 1" tweeter with the specs being the same. i'll try flea market. btw the model # on mine is SL6506 (BD0125)

I have an sl6507; i think they are interchangeable. Might want to check with polk.Shawn
