    Holy Cow that is an unbelievable price. Man I need to move to Texas or something. I'd be all over this deal.

    I can't seem to find any internet orders for them though at Fry's.

    Fry's is having a grand opening sale. Lot's of stuff on sale. I swung by picked up a gameboy sp for $79 with 2 free games to boot. A good preso for the little wallstreet. I checked the polks, but nothing on sale. Some Chinese guy had the rm7200's cranked to distortion levels. :mad: I wanted to go slap him. If u want it louder, by a bigger speaker!!

    Is Polk actually discontinuing the production of Lsi7's or is Fry's overstocked and just trying to reduce its inventory? Haven't seen prices dip anywhere else yet. They're still listed on Crutchfield for $699/pr.

    Also, if Fry's is unloading them for $148, imagine what the mark up is.

    Early,

    These are refurbished LSi 7s I believe. Hence the low price but I think they still carry the full 5 year warranty. Perhaps they are letting them go to get the new LSi look in stock. The new look has different shades of wood and seemless panels on the rear. Should sound the same though.

    Don't know if you saw my earlier thread, Fry's in Seattle (Renton) has them for 199.90, about 8 pairs left. 4 Black, 4 Cherry. Would be happy to ship some off for anyone.

    I'm sure they're not making any money on them. It's most likely a loss leader item like when DVD's come out. They're just trying to get people in the doors and maybe they'll buy something profitable. For what it's worth, they are so far below my employee price that I'm thinking of ordering a pair.

    $74 ea.!!!! MY GOD, must be something with TX and/or Fry's, they seem to have the best deals (practically giveaways). Sure wish we had Fry's around here. Since they have the LSi's (do they have the whole line of LSi's ?), are they coincidered a Hi-Fi store? or are they a general audio store like CC and BB, cause I thought only the Hi-Fi stores sold the LSi's.

    Limit 1 per customer... that sucks. Extra pairs still at $196 ($215 after taxes) If I can get three pairs sold, I'll do it at cost (I'll sell the sub for the effort). (Each polkie splits the bill evenly)

    I sent an email to Russ as well. Once Doc gets taken care of and all the dust settles between you or Russ I'm looking for a cherry pair of LSi 7. Got to be cherry though because my 15s are that color. If I miss out, I miss out. Not a biggie for me.

    Russ is at the store and he'll be picking up quite a few pairs. After he settle who he'll be selling them to, I'll go and fill in the rest (upto 10 pairs, my CC explodes after that)
