RT 800 tweeter

Hi I have a problem with my RT800 speaker .the tweeter is dead on one speaker.
In the past the phenomena started when the bridge between the two inputs on the speaker got loose.
This is no longer the case. I switched the speakers and the tweeter is still dead.
How easy is it to replace the tweeter? Is in common? The RT800 I got in Feb 99 and was very happy with the sound it is hooked to AVR35 Harmon /Kardon.
