price range: RTA-12

need some info here, is a mint condition RTA-12 worth $250CAD ? FYI, it's ~$178 USD there's one currently up on eBay near my place for that price, thanks in advance guys!

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    250 canadian, thats what, 170 in US? even 250 US is a pretty good price if they are in fact mint. i got mine for 100 US, but the cabinets were quite busted up. (they still sound great though :D )

    Just my .02, but i love my 12's to death, its one of those used speakers you can buy where you get a ton of good sound for the money.

    oops, i'm talking about a pair actually ;) thanks for the input guys! and is there real big difference between RTA-12A/B and C model?

    slight differences from what i heard, relates mostly to how the tweeter is arranged on top. old ones had the tweeter mounted on top with nothing else, mine (the 12b i believe, but could be wrong) has the tweeter mounted on a baffle with a downward sloped piece of metal underneath i assume to reflect the sound in some way. other than these minor differences, the sound should pretty much be close to the same, in other words, i wouldnt lose too much sleep about the differences
