I'm looking to buy a pair of RTi38s or RT55i in black. Anyone have some they're looking to get rid of? :D

I'm thinking around 200-250 for the RTi38s and let me know what you'd want for the RT55i i'm not sure what they go for.

Also curious, how much for a used CSi30 or 40?

Also, hello everyone! Its cool to see so many polk owners get to know each other! Had no idea a manufacturer's forum would be like this!

Noone has a pair of these they're willing to get rid of? Not even for a newbie wanting to get his foot in the door of the Hi-fi world? :)

Check around at Best Buys and Circuit Citys. They may still have RTi38s.

Yeah Best Buy doesn't carry Polk, I got confused with Future Shop here in Canada (owned by Best Buy).

What do you think is a fair price for some used but in good condition RTi38s? Would 225 be considered ok? I paid 250 for mine brand new.

It's all supply and demand. If you want them bad enough 500 would be a good price. I got my pair for $60 straight from Circuit City when the supply was hight and they wanted to clear them out.

    I'm in Chicago....

I called a circuit city thats aroudn here and they said that they have some RTi4 in black open in box for 220+tax.

How well would RTi4s mesh with this system, I dont want my rears to be too weak.

I won an auctino for some RTi38s for $204 and the guy happens to live in the same city as me, (its an ebay auction btw) so you think it'd be ok to do the exchange with cash? he has a 1500+ ebay rating.

Edit: check that its a 1350 rating.
