    10 dollars! I'd say that's pretty good. Just where are you located...you seem to be near a treasure trove like mhardy.

    Really a mid-level-unit, late '70s early '80s. 40 watts x 2. As George Grand would say, "that's 25 cents a watt!" Not bad.

    Some of my favorite silver faces are in the 40 to 65 watt range. Sound just as good as some of the Monster class, just less power. I haven't heard the G series of Sansuis though? But I do like my Yamaha CR-800, HK 730, and the Marantz 2265 below. Another "sleeper" is Radio Shack's first mosfet receiver--the STA 2200 (yeah it's a Realistic, but they didn't make them!).
