Picked this 3pc Kenwood rig up today.

KT-7500 Tuna
KX-830 Cassette
KA-7100 Int. Amp

And yes, each unit will be up for grabs in the near future.

Cheers,

JBL SR6630 2ch pro amp. This one is a Urei model, and I'll probably be keeping it - HEAVY some-****.

    Doesn't it though?

I'll say ONE thing about the vintage Kenwood gear, esp in the wood cases - it takes up some SERIOUS Real Estate...

Friggin HUGE. I almost feel like I'm a midget or some such.

    Cheers,

    Hey Russman,
Keep an eye out for an analog audiophile quality am/fm tuner for me. Must do AM, be very presentable and tubes are a plus.
    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Russ,

You sure your middle initial isn't "G".... as in Fred G. Sanford?

I'm just imagining it now.. russ driving around in his pickup truck from garage sale to garage sale with the tunes bah.. bah.. bah.. nah.. playing...although all of this stuff is far from junk. Nice vintage equipment and yes the Kenwood gear looks HUGE..

    Very nice finds indeed.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Chuck, let me see what I can find for you. I think my scrounger has some vintage, high-tone tube tunas just back from service.

Al, I'm ready on the Kenwood - but didn't you have an old silver faced Yammie integrated amp? Reason I'm asking, is I have a matching Yammie silver-faced analog tuner, with wood case that's being tweaked by Gary Dodd right now. Should be ready in a week or so.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Russ,

things in my household move pretty darn fast. since my last post. i've already found the tuna of my dreams.

found a very nice condition Pioneer 9500II tuner. :D

thanks for thinking of me. but i'm all set on analog tunas.

The Kenwood 7500 is always in demand. You should have no trouble whatsoever finding home for that baby.
