My old receiver has finally gone down and I am looking for a new 7.1 receiver to replace it my current setup speaker wise is:
Pair of Tsi 200s-Rear
Tsi cs20-Center
Pair of 201 Bose Bookself Speakers-Sides
Pair of Tsi 500's-Front
BIC America V-1220 12-Inch 430-Watt Down-Firing Powered Subwoofer
Also would like to know since I have a pretty large area is it worth it to go 7.2 or will 7.1 be sufficient and is it also worth the extra money to get a 3D capable receiver? Any advice or suggestion on what I should get would be greatly appreciated?

Trohan, welcome to Club Polk. Yes, at least an approximate budget would help us to narrow the possibilities. Nevertheless, I'll suggest two bargains available in factory refurbished units(which should be at least as reliable as brand-new ones)from Accessories 4 less. For about $230 consider this Denon 1712 . If you could go $430, look at the Onkyo 709 at A4L.
As to whether to use one or two subs(incidentally, two subs are still really 7.1, since there's only one ".1" sub channel regardless of how many subs are running in it), if your budget can handle it, get two. This isn't so much to be able to have a higher bass sound level(about 3dB higher for two widely separated subs)but to smooth out the response and minimize room modes when correctly placed, basically at the mid-points of opposite side walls or of the front and back wall, or in diagonally opposite corners.
