CSi A4 No s/n label

Just got one of these center speakers from Amazon and the s/n label has been removed. They left behind the sticky stuff but no label. Should I be concerned?

    I bought a couple of FXi A4's a couple of years ago on the internet and they came with the serial numbers peeled off. Made me wonder why they had to do that. Had them for about 6 months with no problems, sold them to a neighbor and they are still working just fine. When I did a review (might have been Amazon) I raised the question about no serial numbers. I have always wondered if these were stolen or what. Since then I try to make sure I buy from an authorized dealer just to make sure there is a warrenty if nothing else.

    THX Zane, and what adds further intruige is Amazon is an authorized dealer/seller. Called Polk and they said shouldn't be a problem as long as I got the S/n card. I have also called Amazon and they will be sending out a replacement. Let's see if this one will have the s/n's peeled off.

    Mine didn't come with the serial number card (the yellow one) in the box. Still makes me wonder where those came from.

    Called Amazon and they sent me a new one...this one had the S/n label. So now time to send the original back to them for a credit and all is well with the world again! :wink:
