Quick MIT AVT1 Connection Question

Just received a pair of AVT1 ICs for my LSi9 rig (AVT2 speaker interfaces). Unlike my other MIT stuff, these don't have directional arrows. Which side is suggested to be connected to source? The short end from the network box or the long end?
Thanks,

The instructions should say (assuming these are new and shipped with instructions). I say this because I can't remember.
In visualizing my set up the network boxes are on the speaker end. (short end to speakers)

sound travels TO the network box. it should be on the end information is going TO. So say your going from pre to amp box on amp end short ends to amp.

I think you guys are right - the CVT 2 ICs in the HT rig are the same way. Short end to the amp, long end to the DAC.
Thanks!
