I've got a set of MM6501 components up for sale. I bench tested them through the crossover a few months back to make sure they work. This was only for a few minutes, speakers are not broken in yet. Now they are in the box and ready for YOUR car!

I bought them from sonicelectronix. The price on their site is pretty much what I paid. Make me a decent offer and they are yours. I'm located in Huntington Beach, CA.

Edit: Since I have to post a price, its $200 OBO ;)

What are the specs on these? If you have a link, that's all I need.

In addition, can you do PayPal?

    Thanks!

Those will take a decent amount of power. Okay, I have to put a cap in my budget if I'm going to power these the right way.

I'm putting them in my work car, a 1996 Toyota Station Wagon, and I'll be installing a sub and another set of speakers as well. I'd want to push 125 wpc x 4 plus at least 450 into the sub channel, so I'm looking at a cap in that system.

I still dont think you need a cap. General consensus are that caps are like bandaids for your electrical system.

The mm6501 speakers are 125w at 2.7ohm. Also they have a 94db efficiency (this might be measured at 2.7ohm as well, not sure). I'd post in the car audio section, they can probably give you more feedback than I can.

Apparently I should have kept the comment about the cap to myself. I'm talking a 10 farad range cap, enough to keep my lights from dimming and my alternator from premature wear.

Let me reset: After checking out the specs, I see that they are a very high quality speaker and that a lot of clean power would make them sing. If I get my budget together to include these speakers in the system the way I want to build and you still have them, I'd be interested in making an offer on them. They are excellent speakers and I want to make sure I have enough power running in my system so I don't muddy them up. Thanks!
