Yes VERY SAD indeed. The number of people who had a gift like that could be counted on one hand.....with fingers left over. She made a hugh impact in her day, and later a reminder to everyone, to be VERY CAREFUL with your life.

Sad what expectations, dead lines and presure that comes from having the talent that others want to capitalize on can do to you.

Sad, sad death to the music industry like a few others who left to early by their own hands in a way..

I guess pain pills will be even harder to get now for those who truely, truely need them.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Sad as possible... Such a beautiful lady, such a great female vocal... We would think she had everything for herself; beauty talent and fame. The reality is that so many that carries those attributes cannot bear the weight and stress it brings upon them. Yes, she may have chosen her own faith it however remains that such a lady deserve much better than such sad and tragic end at such a young age.

IMHO, when at her prime no too many people came close to her voice and even today, not too many voices are of as remarkable quality as her voice once was. In the 80s, I could never get enough of her voice, was happy of her 2009 come back and was hoping she'd pull through.

While not surprised, I am very saddened by this news!

RIP beautiful/lovely Lady (in every possible sense).
