Quality of RCA's?

How serious should I be about the RCA jack cables between my preamp and my 5 channel amp? Currently I have some older "pretty good" quality Phoenix Gold's and Stinger brands from my car audio days which are nicely shielded, and they sound pretty good. But I don't wanna shortchange myself. Should I buy newer RCA's? Is it very important that they all match?
Thanks for your input..

Vampire makes a nice copper jack, but if your RCA's are made of copper, I wouldn't bother."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I would think they should match if possible, but if nothing else try to make your front three (Left, Right, Center) match."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
