Receiver Trouble

Hello,
I own the Onkyo TX-SR502 receiver which has worked great the past few years but all of a sudden, it stopped outputting to the speakers. Although it still turns on and does everything else properly, it is having trouble making sound. Yesterday I was having this problem, I left it on for about 30 minutes with no sound and then suddenly it started working (although it sounded very fuzzy for another minute or two). Has anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions? Should I invest in a new receiver? I hadn't touched any buttons or done anything out of the ordinary when it stopped working.
Thank you very much

Theres a button combo you can hold down on an Onkyo to reset to factory defaults. check your manual or online for that combo that works for your model.
lots of luck -
Thank you very much, I'll try that right now
