I a 1.5 TB drive connected FW 800 to my MAC Mini. I have a spare micro-mini 1.5 TB FW800 drive I want to backup my music to. For the moment I did a copy and paste of my music.
Is there a better approach?
I do use timecapsule to back up my Mac mini, 500g external.
Currently I have 308 g of music.
Thanks,

I think your copy / pasting is the simplest approach.
I actually keep a folder called 'new music' - whenever it hits 25GB, I back up all that music to a blu-ray disc (and put that disc in a CD case and hide that CD case lol). Then I move that new music to the usual music folders.
I'm right around 390GB as well - but I've been backing up to permanent media from the get go.Dali Optikon 1Mk2
NAD D3020 V2
Schiit Bifrost 2/64
..the rest are headphone setups.
