Amp for LS90

I am currently running an Adcom 535 with my LS90s. Do you think that's enough power for them? I'm contemplating moving up to 545 or a 555. Will the 200wpc make a difference for these over the Adcom 535 60wpc? I know some say the 545 sounds smoother than the 555, but the 555 doubles the output of the 545. Thanks.

Yes it is enough power. Will more power improve the dynamics, absolutely. I went from a Denon 85 WPC to the B&K (150 WPC) and never looked back.

What Wallstreet said. I have had a 50wpc Rotel drive my RTA-8T's originally, then got a 110wpc Denon receiver and it basically sounded the same, went up to a 205wpc Parasound 1500A and the result was HELLO POLKS! Hearing things out of my cds that I thought I knew very well was an eye/ear opening experience.
I will never have less than 200wpc driving any of my speakers. My intention was to upgrade to the LSI's with the Parasound, that has yet to happen.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -

My wife is not going to like you guys
I think I'll go for the adcom 555, then when I have the budget, I'll move up if needed. I just did the crossover mod with the Dayton capacitor in my LS90s and the CS350LS center channel last night. Upgraded the fuses in my Adcom 535 with ceramic slow blow ones as well. Haven't listened to it yet since. Bought an Adcom 2535 from a member on here. Going to bridge it and run 200wpc for the center channel, so it'd be nice to use the adcom 555 200wpc for the front speakers. -
Can you give me some more info on that? I've never heard of it. I was thinking of even replacing the caps on the 535, but I don't know which to use. If they're expensive though, it's not worth it for me since I can put that money into a new Adcom 555.
