looking for a tt

I recently saw on an auction site a Dual 1229q tt for stating sale of $1.00. Now the seller listed a boat load of pictures and I've got to tell you they look great ,and as a former 1229 owner way back in the 70s they worked great. I do have some problems here, first it's not going to be the same shipping/packing as factory and that's a worry and then the base is not the beveled United Audio Model but another one that says it's a 220 voltage unit. The guy claims it's only the base and not the inards and I messaged him to show all the cables of all the pictures he showed none were of the wire and connectors.
So if it is a European unit then it's worthless, and then on the other hand if he could prove that it's set up for U.S. POWER THEN IT'S ALL GOOD.
please any comments would be appreciated.

Pass. Get a Thorens,a better table for the price of a Dual. The 160 or 145 are the most "affordable" models.
