Purchase Recommendations

I currently have an Onkyo NR807 (135wpc x 2 channels driven) that I'm using for home theater 5.1. I have a 10 inch polk vintage powered sub that doesn't have LFE inputs with Polk vintage speakers that handle up to 125 watts.
Considering in about 2 months, the Emotiva XPA-5 powered amp, the HSU VTF-3 MK4 for the new powered sub, and the RTi A7 and A6 speakers for front-stage. If I have $2,000 to work with, what upgrades would you recommend, and why?

Let me clarify here...
I have pair of RT400, CS245, and RT25i, and an old 180 watt powered 10" Polk sub before LFE became mainstream, all powered by an Onkyo NR807. The powered sub really doesn't go lower than 25 Hz, so I am definitely looking to upgrade. The speakers will handle between 125 to 150 watts maximum.
My upgrade plans include the RTi A6, A7's, and the FXi A6, for the speakers. Powered sub from Hsu VTF-MK4. To power the speakers will be the Emotiva XPA-5. I would like to get the best sound as quick as possible. But I may only be able to come up with $2000 to $2500 by February.
Considering the upgrades and the budget, should I go with front-stage (mains and center) and powered amp? or
Powered amp and powered sub (if this option was selected, would the amp be too much for the speakers to handle)?
I will eventually get all of the parts, but just attempting to get the biggest improvement in audio to start with for the money that I can come up with in February. -
Oh I see what you are asking. If it were me I would go with the Emotiva and the mains first, since that is going to be what you use the most for music. The center and the sub are nice additions but are not absolutely necessary. Your AVR will be able to mix the sub/center channels into your mains until you get those pieces.

Get the main two fronts and the subwoofer first, that will give you the biggest sound improvement per dollar. Fill in the rest as coin becomes available.HT SYSTEM-
