Up for your consideration is a very nice Bottlehead Foreplay III preamp. I've had this pre in one of my systems for a few months now, and it really sounds nice. It has two line outputs (suitable for bi-amping) as well as three line inputs, and separate left & right volume controls. I've just acquired a Sunfire Classic Tube pre with a phono input, so the Bottlehead needs to move along. The only thing I have done to this pre is build a new base/enclosure for it out of solid oak.
Here is a link to the Bottlehead site:

http://www.bottlehead.com/store.php?crn=220&rn=430&action=show_detail

Tubes included are (2) Mullard 12AU7, (1) Philips OD3A.

Asking: $420.00 plus actual shipping.

Ask anyone, I'm not a tease.

Unless there is something I need to know about the pre I'll take it. Check out shipping to CO, 80534 and I'll PM you tomorrow with the address etc. Looks like a nice preamp! Any chance of a discount for an extremely easy sale?

Oh, just wondering, did you build it? Do you have the instructions? No big deal either way. Nice oak base!

I was expecting a PM or something. I'll get you a shipping quote.

I didn't build it, I'm the third owner, I believe. I did build the base for it, I didn't like the cheesy base that came from Bottlehead... and I sprung for the $6.00 Bottlehead badge... They don't include those with the package, go figure.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on how this preamp sounds after you recieve it.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
