Well it appears to have a scuff or dust on the front to the left of the display. I'd ask what that is.

I however, do NOT like that the picture is taken with the needle buried... that's a turn off.

EXACTLY MY THOUGHT! I can deal with the scuff and I actually think its just dust but I have not seen any other with the needle pinned. That meter is for the incoming ac current to the transformer correct?

    Answers that I suppose

    Thanks 1C

Mine pins like that and sounds fine.I haven't taken time to see why it does it yet but it has had no negative effect on the performance of mine.

Didn't even bother to dust it before taking pics to sell it? Wonder how well it's been treated.

Actually, I thought it was a power level meter to display watts. So I don't even know for sure. Maybe that's harmless? Don't take my word for it as I'm unsure.

That is normal for these amps to have the needle almost pinned like that. It is one of the main ways to tell that this amp is a sig series.

REally? So it's more of a wattage draw than an issue? Do all sig's run at the top end of the meter?

It looks like he took the picture with the amp on. When it is on & getting a signal the needle goes all the way over to the right and stays there. It does NOT move around. When it is off or not getting a signal it is all the way over to the left. This is normal.

Most of the pics I've seen of these amps the needle is on the next to last measurement not all the way to the right. It does raise some concern but if it's normal I will consider it. I was atcually hoping to find the seller here and be able to talk via pm or at least open forum.
