A 20-39PC+ coming from the Rochester, NY area.

Originally owned by me, sold to a friend, becoming available for sale in a month or so if the PB2 upgrades go as planned.

There is a tiny burr (created by me) around one of the small holes in the perforated metal top grille. Not noticeable unless you run your fingers over the grille and look for it.

The underside of the base plate has a mixed bag combination of rubber feet and adhesive soft foam tape (added by me) to keep it from "walking" on a hard smooth surface. You can't see any of it when the sub is standing upright.

Current pics are available upon request.

Works perfectly and never been bottomed by me or the current owner.

$650 including insurance and shipping in the original SVS packaging to MO by me via UPS.

I will use my workplace UPS service, and you will be provided with the UPS shipping number via email from me the hour it ships from my work.

Let me know. If you don't want it, this offer is open to other CP members.

Sold to Greg! Assuming we all upgrade as planned (which is like a 95% certainty). Everything should occur in a month or less.

Please email me your personal data and we'll work it out off line.

Greg is still planning on buying the sub. Like I said, the PB2-Ultra is a slow introduction and that's what's delaying the deal/

If I come across any other SVS upgrade deals, I'll let you guys know.

I'll try to hold out for a SVS. I can get a good deal on a DefTech 15 TL+ right now. Any insights on the DefTech?

I know the supercubes are objectively poor performers, with very high THD at low frequencies, and a quick roll-off below 30 Hz, as measured by the Ace Of Bass - Tom Nousaine.

I can't recall off the top of my head anything on the 15 TL+, sorry.

    Everything went smooth:

    1) Greg was a prompt payer.

    2) I was a prompt shipper (shipped before the check even cleared - we trust each other).

    3) I insured it for $850 ($200 over the paid amount), and sent him the UPS tracking number right away.

    4) I took took several "before" pics and emailed them to him in the event of damage.

    5) The sub arrived in good shape, except for a slight depression in the vent screen, possibly caused by the last owner or the UPS shipper. I offered to replace the screen immediately at no charge, and Greg graciously declined.

    6) I will still arrange to have a new grille sent to him anyway (if he lets me give SVS his address).

I want Greg to be 110% happy with the sub and with our transaction. I stand behind my Club Polk sales all the way.

    Sweet!!!

Everything went 1st rate. From NY to MO in 2 1/2 days via UPS.

Now I just need to get rid of the wife for a day to have some fun. She leaves for work about 30 minutes before me, so I rush to feel the bass (and scare the dog). The only problem is the windows rattle like a mother.

Checked out all the usual suspects. The storm in "Open Range" was very impressive.

I'll post some pic's this weekend.

    Thanks Doc!

    Bonus:

I moved my old Velodyne CT-100 to my other set up (Boston A-100, A-70, & Polk CS245) and it blends very well.

In case you missed my email late last night, your new vent grille should be shipping out from SVS anytime now. I gave them your addy and your email since they usually send an email notice that you are getting something from UPS.

Your "new" 20-39PC+ will be stylin' in a few days!

Glad you are loving the sub and it meets/exceeds your expectations - that's all that matters.

    Final SVS purchase update:

    Doc ROCKS!!!

Going above and beyond my expectations, the new grill arrived today that Doc insisted we order. To my surprise there was a bonus included as well...

I am now sporting a sweet new SVS t-shirt while typing this (and grinning)!

Thanks Doc, absolutely awesome person to deal with!

    Greg:

It was really no problem. The t-shirt was SVS' idea; they take care of even 3rd owners!

I wanted the sub to stay in the "extended family", and I wanted everything to exceed your expectations. If you're happy, I'm happy. (thumbs up).

Enjoy your "new" 20-39C+ - it is an early model number destined to become a classic someday. I happily lived with it for over a year, and hated to see the "tower of power" go. Enjoy!
