Anyone have a set of the top half of the RT3000p system? I now a few of you have blown amps in the subwoofer, so this is a golden opportunity to sell the top halves. Thanks, Jeff

I love the RT3000p. I have owned a lot of really good (IMHO) Polk speakers mostly from the RTA line, the RTA8, RTA11t, and RTA15tl's. I love the RTA's, but they don't come close to the RT3000P. I could never understand how people could prefer 2 channel over a good surround sound. I love the Music 7 mode on my Lexicon, but now I prefer stereo on most recordings. The RT3000P's are amazing speakers. I am going to sell my other set of 15tl's if I can find a set of the RT3000P sats for my rears. If I can't I will probably look for a set of the RT55's.

....but I was told the rt3000 sats are not full range speakers, that they have a high crossover point and are designed to be used in conjunction with the subs.
In which case the 55's or 800's would be a better bet.

That may be so, but if you sett all of your speakers to small that should not be an issue.

Jeff, I'm glad too see you got them. I was wondering if anyone did and I was gonna scarf 'em if not.

BTW - A set of 55's would definitely work if you can't find the sats.

The 3000p sats have internal crossovers that block frequencies below 80 Hz. I would just set my rears to small. I am still hoping some turn up, but I haven't seen any listed anywhere in a LOOONG time.

Thanks for the offer, but I just sold a set of 55i's. I am using a set od RT800i's for my rears now and am perfectly satisfied. Unless I can get the 3000's. Thanks
