Squeezebox Touch technical question

I realize there are about 10 threads floating around on the squeezebox but have a pretty specific question.
Currently I have a touch hooked to my main rig in my loft. To those of you with multiple units, are you able to have them linked together in different systems in your house to set up a whole home wireless system? I'm of course talking about having each unit playing the same thing at the same time and controlling it with lets say an iphone or ipad running the squeezebox apps. Also, if this is possible, would it only be the music stored on my mac that the touch controls, or would I be able to do it with pandora and spotify apps as well?
Thanks

My next purchase after I get my Rack done.. This is something I would like to know as well..
Hello Nick how is the cabinet coming?? -
I'm not sure but I'd assume that the SQ Box can handle that scenerio to a certain degree. But if you want a whole house wireless system you owe it to yourself to check out the SONOS system. It can play in up to 34 zones, either all playing the same music or you can have each zone play something different & at different volums all from your easy chair. There is nothing on the market that can compete with it. Easy as pie to set up, it works off it's own internal wireless network, best user interface out there, superb sound, I can go on & on but check it out for yourself. Pricier than the SQ Box...but as we all know you get what you pay for."2 Channel & 11.2 HT "Two Channel:Magnepan LRSSchiit Audio Freya S - SS preConsonance Ref 50 - Tube preParasound HALO A21+ 2 channel ampBluesound NODE 2i streameriFi NEO iDSD DAC Oppo BDP-93KEF KC62 sub Home Theater:Full blown 11.2 set up.

I 2nd the Sonos, I have the ZP5 in the garage, my wife has the ZP120 in the bathroom, ZP90 in the theater we both have our own music on our own computers and we have total control of each zone as in all-in-one or whatever we choose...if we are having a party they sink flawlessly as one...only one of the units has to be directed wired to internet the rest will mesh, pretty awesome, easy to use, Iphone, PC, and Droid apps2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures

Larry, the squeezebox has exceeded every one of my expectations from sound quality to ease of use. I nearly bought a Marantz UD5005 blu-ray, sacd, cd player to improve my sound quality but opted for the squeezebox at half the price instead and there's no looking back!
As for the cabinet... funny you ask, as I am currently printing off coupons for Joann fabrics so I can redo the cloth today. I got all the shelves cut and stained yesterday plus bought some rope lights for the inside. If all goes well, I will have the cabinet 95% finished off today! I snapped some pictures of the gutted cabinet I'm working with to show the progress and the difficulty (for me) that the whole project created. I think polk should have used some screws instead of glue back on 11-17-89 when these things were stamped as it would have made my life a LOT easier.
Hopefully I will have pictures of the finished project tonight. -
You can "synchronize" you SQB Touchs. I do it with the two I have. Just select Settings > synchronize.
It works with whatever you're playing and I can control with my iPod Touch._________________________________________________
