audio connections questions

I have three new amps to my system and I was wondering about audio connections? I need to connect my two newer Marantz MA-700 monos and an Emotive xpa-3 I bought from the sale section of this sight.I am using monster speaker wire .And i wanted to upgrade my audio connections between marantz reciever and amps? I was looking on Accessoriesforless.com and saw IXOS brand and monster and ATS brands ? Would any of these be worth a try or do I need to spend Hundreds to get good sound? After all It is only copper wire right ? Also what is the difference between Audio connections and Video connections? As always thanks alot ... I finally made 100 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No, it's not only copper wire. Different flavors abound in cables. The signal cable link mentioned by Face is a good place to start, their Analog 2's to be exact is what I would aim at.
