I was out hunting last week and found this receiver, it was covered in dirt and looked like it died years ago. I took it home plugged it in and the oldtimer lit up. I spent two hours cleaning and testing and this old Realistic and its turned into a nice looking piese of gear. It puts out 80 per channel and I love the face on this receiver.

Looks great. I'm buying alot of the older stuff too, and was wondering how you generally clean the exterior of the gear. Any special aluminum polish or something you would recommend. Your pieces always look great.

Hmmm.... I've heard of people using a wood spray to spruce there old gear up, like Orange Glow. I've been following your nabs on the other side of the mountain, your having a lot more luck than I am. I need to get over that way, when you open your store/booth I'll make it a priority to get over there.

That's one of the R/S receivers with power MOSFETs if memory serves; arguably the best sounding soiled state Rx they ever sold.

Thanks for the nice responce, as for my store it's open and doing well. I don't do anything special, I use mild dish soap and good old hard work. I love this little gem, I wish I had a before and after shot. This thing looked bad!
