My mom rejoined my dad wed. night with the lord, we laid her beside my dad today, 26 years after he passed.

Strangely, no sadness at ceremony, a few tears, but we all know she is better off.

I want to thank all who wished us well and/or offered prayers here.

Im not one to try to find meaning or messages in everyday occurences, but one eerie thing happened today.

The funeral director guided us into our parking spots in cemetery, we got out, still about 40 yards walk through the grass to my parents resting place, and glancing down, the headstone next to the curb was for Clyde C., and Mary S.

my parents first names and middle initials.

Hug your loved ones for me, or at least call.

RIP Scotty and now you have one more guardian angel. I lost my Mom this year and as painful as it was the sadness is healing over time. One thing I was glad I did since her passing was found a picture of her when she was 25 and healthy- took it to Michaels and bought an expensive custom frame. Now I walk past it every day in the hallway. So glad I spent that money it's a terrific tribute to her that the whole family enjoys.

Sorry to hear Scotty, trust me I do feel your pain, I would give anything to have my parents back.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

My condolences to you and your family Scotty. I still have my Mom, I'm calling her right now.

When my grandma was in hospice, my little sister saw all her brothers and sisters, and her Mom and dad standing by the bed, grandma saw them too, reached out her hand and said "I'll see ya soon", that freaked me out bad.

R.I.P. better place and she's smiling now, honor her in a nice way this weekend

My condolences to you and your family Scotty.

They may be gone by body but not in spirit. Like hockyboy said, she will always look over you.
