could pick this up for 50 bucks. Guy hasn't tested it and its about an hour from me. Tried looking up prices but coming up short. Does anyone own one or have experience with it? The guy stated his friend made him buy it when he bought a tuner off of him soo I'm a little weary. He said was in great condiiton still but just didn't test it out yet which he offered to demo at his place.

Just looking to possibly have for a bedroom system with some bookselves or something.

Haven't been able to find a 1050B. Might be a 1060B. My first decent integrated new in '76 was a 1060. Great little integrated. So good that I found one a couple years back to relive my youth. It is in mint condition and literally will drive any speaker I own all the way to full volume without any audible distortion. Also one of the nicest headphone amps I've ever owned.

    You might research athttp://www.classic-audio.com/marantz/mindex.html

FWIW, the 1060 (unsuffixed, d'oh!) looks like this...

    M1060.jpg

Perfectly OK but thoroughly unremarkable massmarket integrated at 30 watts per channel.

I think there may have been an 1050 (unsuffixed) in an earlier series from Superscope-era Marantz (i.e., Japanese-made, Chatsworth, CA address) - well, Classic Audio says there was:

    Would've been 25 wpc.
