Mark Levinson No23 = Dead

So I've got a pair of Mark Levinson No23 amps, and after not using them for six months, it turns out that one has died. I flipped the switch, it made a buzz, and then turned itself off. This was with nothing connected to it, so it's not a cable or speaker issue. So off to my tech it goes, hoping for a reasonable repair. I'm a bit sad at this point...

So now the amp stays on, but only one channel works. Perhaps something was on its was out, and causing a short. No more short, but only half working. I'll drag it in sometime this week.
