Rotel or Adcom for RTi12's

Greetings,

I have a pair of new RTi12's and I need to get a used power amp for them. I'm looking at a used Rotel RB-1070 and a used Adcom GFA 55511. Actually looking online at them, not in person. Don't have any experience with them other than what you folks have been saying some. They are both in good condition according to their sources and not real old. They are priced within $50 of each other. What are your recomendations of these two units. Thanks for your good advice. Jim.

    Both are good choices but I'd pick the Rotel since its a bit smoother overall.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    hi i have same speakers but not those amps looking at a adcom 5800 or crown XLS 2500 or new line from crown XTI 2000 looks good for those rtis enough power a little exspensive but good good luck

    i have the rtia7 which are brothers of rti12 and run them using an rotel rb990bx, if you could find a rotel 1080 or the one i own you will be very pleased.

    i really like the way the speakers sound with it, it really smooth them out
