Pioneer Elite PD-65 CDP

Might regret selling this, but as stated in another listing, I'm selling everything to go to a simpler, family-friendly Sonos system for now. The unit looks and works flawlessly. Rosewood sides are impeccable. I am the original owner. You will not find a better condition PD65 than this. This unit is known for it's low-jitter "Stable Platter" CD tray. I'll try to get a picture of the platter in the next day or two. It looks like a turntable platter and you put the CD in upside-down (laser reads from the top). It is a stellar performer. I have researched many to replace this with, but found that I would have to spend WAY too much to make any real change. Adding a good DAC to this PD65 would make a killer combination that you would probably never have an inclination to upgrade from. This unit has been said to have a nice smooth analog-like sound to it, and I would agree. I've only heard it up against one other good CDP in my system, which was the well-thought-of Jolida JD100, and I personally liked the PD65 better. Comes with remote. I misplaced the owners manual somewhere along the years and couldn't find one online. $350 shipped CONUS, I'll even eat Paypal.

That was a really nice unit and built like a tank....surprised it took this long.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Unit arrived unscathed; bomb-proof packed in large double boxes with tons of padding. It's absolutely gorgeous and will be the perfect transport for my Tact Digital M2150 Integrated Amp. Thanks Troy for an extremely smooth and enjoyable deal.
