Put out the feelers before, but now it's official.

Selling my Denon 1910. Price is $250 shipped. I'll eat any PayPal fees. I'm just west of Chicago in Elmhurst (work in Tinley Park) so pickup at either place would be fine and I'd give a $25 discount to anyone picking it up and paying in cash.

It's been hooked up to my Panamax 5100 so it has never had any power surges and has been in a child free, smoke free environment for the one year I have had it.

It's in great condition with all of the original packaging, accessories, and literature.

Let me know if you're interested. I just purchased an Onkyo 3008 so I gotta send this one along.

Haven't sold anything through here yet but I do have a good rating on eBay under the same user name and have recently sold some other audio gear on there with feedback regarding those transactions.

    Had severe thunderstorms/tornadoes last night and I've got some trees down and no power at the house so I wasn't able to pack it up last night. To busy trying to not get sucked up into a cyclone :frown:

    Why don't folks clean their gear up nicely before trying to sell it? Glad the transaction went smoothly for both of you. I've bought and sold gear for years and there's a clear line of increased value when the appearance and well written copy support the product being sold. Just weird.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I realize there is some dust on it but I had taken the pictures about a week before I had gotten my new receiver and to disconnect the whole unit just to snap a few pictures wasn't worth it for me. I described the unit accurately, didn't charge for Paypal (which I personally think is ridiculous, simply add it to your cost if your concerned about the $6), gave free shipping, offered a discount for pickup, and the price was low. Had I been selling a higher ticket item or been in dire need of money I may have spent more time dusting it and polishing it.

    I understand you have been on here for a while, but dropping a note like this on a sale that has obviously gone well between both the seller and buyer is more of a point of sounding off with little thought of tact or genuine interest in benefiting anyone but your own self image and how great of a seller/asset to this community that you feel you are.

    Suggesting the equipment be cleaned and the description improved on a sale that is not going well by means of a private message is one thing, but what you have done here is something completely different.

    Just weird.

    Sorry to butt in, I was thinking the same thing regarding the dust. Some people see that and some don't. Some care and some don't. I could never figure that out.
