    I have sent a msg to a buddy that works at a local audio store that sells Polk and asked him to check the area inventory. I hope to find an open box and will sell it to ya.

    Is there any chance you could do the same for a CSi30? I've been looking desperately for one of those. If so, thanks a million. If not, thanks a million anyways. :)

    There is a CC in my area (Wash DC) that had an open boc CSi40 for $149.00. It had a small chip above the grill on the top right side. I can check to see if it is still available. Let me know. Jeff

    How bad is the chip? If it's not too bad I'll definitely be interested.

    Cool, thanks for the help...I am not too worried about a little cosmetic damage at this point, it would have to be pretty bad for me to pass up, as long as it sounds good I should be fine.

    You know what sucks? I e-mailed this guy offering him $170 + shipping last night and it seemed like we had a done deal. But this morning when I woke up the bidding was up to $177, so obviously he could see the speaker was worth more than that and I haven't heard from him since. I almost had me a steal. :rolleyes: :D

    A CC close to my work had these new in box about a month ago when I got mine.

    I think they are $299.00 though and you can probably get an ebay one cheaper.

    They will not budge on the price unitl they get to the open box units.
