Are you ready to add some Mojo to your home theater or presentation?
For Sale: Kodak DP850 DLP digital projector. This projector is more commonly known as the Davis DL-450. This projector is in excellent condition and with only 785 hours on a bulb that is known to last over 6000 hours. That is a two hours movie every night for the next seven years! In addition I am including a second bulb! This projector has been updated to the latest firmware.
This projector includes the original box, manual, remote, carrying case, and all the connectors. This projector is universal voltage, and includes three different plugs for different countries. In addition the projector is both PC and MAC compatible. A special feature of this projector is that the remote also doubles as a wireless mouse for your computerperfect for giving PowerPoint presentations!
The unit has had the Davis noise modification performed, which makes the projector noticeably quieter. Also I am including the Davis programming cable for firmware updates, computer control, and calibration using Davistuner. I have used Davis tuner on this projector to calibrate it, and it has resulted in an even better picture, with a higher contrast ratio then the original specification.
Included as well is a EVC to VGA adaptor, this connector allows for a direct connection of the projector into your computer for a significantly better picture from DVD and HDTV playback. Plus I am including an approximately 35 foot VGA cable.
Finally, this projector comes with a replacement bulb in the original box. I bought this bulb a while ago on ebay, it was listed as used and coming from another projector, however it still good. I am under the impression that the bulb still has several thousand hours of life left on it for years of additional service from the projector. However, because I have not tested the bulb and have no way to measure how much longer it will last, I am including the bulb as-is.
Here are the specs from the projector (note that I have measured the contrast ratio as being noticeably higher after calibrating with Davis Tuner) Also, while the projector does not implicitly support HDTV, many, myself included, have found that this projector with a little prodding will accept an HDTV signaland I might add looks amazing!

Damn my no funds and no rooms without a wall of windows....There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin
