Little Black Box

About the size of a NAD phono preamp, labeled EXO. Nice little heavy faceplate. Front has a "Gain" knob and a "Sub" knob. Front also has a mini-jack with headphones emblazoned above it, and another mini-jack w/a speaker monitor emblazoned above it. Around the back we have a pair of L & R RCA jacks (in no doubt) and a pair of L & R XLR jacks (out no doubt), and a corresponding rocker switch under each XLR with "0" and "-12db" positions. A cord hardwired in terminates with the kind of plug you hook a mouse to a computer with. Any ideas? Obviously an external X-over of some sort, but from where or what?

Might it be the controller for this system? http://www.jigsaw24.com/product-details/g724awa/bluesky-exo-2.1-mkii-speaker-system

That would be it. This place is incredible. You da man. It's the preamp. And it looks like the mini-jack is for Ipod "in" and not "out" to monitors as I thought
