Currently I am using a Pioneer Elite 49 TXi as a pre with a Rotel RB-870 BX amp. I am wonderring if I got a Rotel RSP-1066 Pre whether I would see improvement in 2 channel mode.

If any of you guys using Rotel separates could comment, I would appriciate it.

Don't know your budget? But if you can handle about 400.00 get a darad sl2000a tube pre. Simply the best soundind pre I heard for less than double the price new.must upgrade tubes though. This pre will change your life!! Not to mention your system! You can run both amps on this pre and it is a remarkable value! But more info needed as to what you want it to do for your sys. To advise with any detail.

Rotel sings with Rotel. There are others that work well, but for some reason
the best my rb-980 ever sounded was with a Rotel pre.
