Just listened and watched "David Gilmour - Remember That Night" on Blu-Ray... Sweet..... He plays his Strat like no one else. I'm here to tell you that if your into great music on Blu-Ray this is IMO the standard. Gilmour slicing a Creamy Black Strat... coupled with Richard Wright on Keyboard, Phil Manzanera on a Les Paul Custom, ....... Graham Nash and David Crosby on background vocals. !!! It's complete ear candy !!!

that black strat has alot of history..used to record most of pf albums after meddle, i thinks...the strat has no active electronics bs...it's basically stock, with a few mods..which drives the point home...gilmour could play a rubber band and move some souls:cool:

"Ear candy" I agree with whole-heartedly. But if you had said "eye-candy"...well, I gotta take issue. I L-O-V-E-S me some Gilmour, don't get me wrong, but seeing his man **** in all their high def glory...shudder.

Great Blu ray. Not at all excited about the sound quality.
-
Darn, I was thinking the reviews said the audio quality was very good ,video quality is a mixed bag. I wouldn't mind picking this one up if it's worth getting.

it is..the one from gdansk as well -
Try David Gilmour Live In Gdansk in bluray..better sound, includes some great tunes from
his excellent On An Island album

I have " Remember That Night" and thought sound was ok. Live in Gdansk is from the same tour and I agree that the sound is better on this dvd. My personal favorite for sound and video, is Pulse."They're always talking about my drinking, but never mention my thirst" Oscar Wilde
