I am new to the board and am looking for some help. Looking to purchase (1) pair of black fx500i or fx300i surrounds and (1) pair of black rt1000i front towers. Haven't had much luck with ebay lately and figured I'd try here. If any of you know a store or shop that has any of these available, please pass on their phone # or website. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

There WAS a pair of RT1000i's that sold today ...

Yeah, I missed out on the ones on ebay. Really made me mad because I had my eye on them for a few days. I saw the fx300i, but white just won't do. All of my components must be black.

I saw a pair of fxi 500 on ebay last week, however after looking back for you today, they are no longer available. Consider the new fx 5's. There is definitely a difference in sound between the two. The 5's seem to open up and sound cleaner leaving a more diffused sound. I guess it's because of the improved tweeter. Good luck with your search.

I looked on ebay and did not see your listing. Would you provide the item number for the speakers. I'd like to see them. Thank you for the info.

Found your listing. The link wouldn't connect for me for some reason. I'll send you a message through ebay concerning them.

Those may go real cheap since the seller listed them as POLKAUDIO with no space, most people will miss it when using search.

Exactly what I was thinking! And I could be wrong, but the model name might also be questionable when it comes to searching.

I know. I did the same thing a couple months ago to someone. Heard about it real quick.

That is when I learned about private reply. I've tipped off several people here without letting the cat out of the bag. Ebay is a nightmare already as far as prices go, stealth is the only way to win.

well...........as predicted.........the bid is now $255 with time to go. Just got to keep looking. I want another one of those deals tigerfever got when he bought those f/x500's for $150/pr.

    c'est la vie

Yes, I got them for $150 plus shipping and they were not as described, the top caps had numerous dings and crunches in the edge of the plastic from dropping them and were poorly packed. The fx500i's I mentioned I was selling above I purchased new and they sold the same night I listed them for $265 in perfect condition. The fx500's I purchased from crystalclear will match my other pair of woodgrained fx500's ,I just got a receiver that supports 2 back surround and two side surrounds and wanted to timber match the speakers. A lot of sellers on ebay wil take a paypal payment right now then to hope and wait for two birds in the bush. That's how I got the fx500s for $150,still worth it even with the dings that you cant see anyway up high on the walls.

DIngs and nicks never bothered me, but he should have listed that in his ad. Did you leave negative feedback for that guy so the next buyers know to be aware?

I guess that's why he was willing to let them go so fast. But I agree, for $150, that is still a heck of a price.

No I did'nt leave negative feedback as he was a new ebayer and has no idea how to pack, with as many transactions as I have had I am very carefull about posting anything negative. I only had about 7 total bad transactions on ebay, one buyer from but tut india, which probably doen't exist, another purchase from china, my fault for trusting that one,and the rest were freight damages that eventually were settled. Usually even if you pay someone promptly and they leave you positive feedback, if you get the short end of the stick and leave them negative feedback they can rebuttle on the post and comment about you in ways you can only imagine so I just don't leave any neg. feedback when it is not really needed. I have only really needed to do that about 6 times.
