It is a great amp, worthy of your time. The amp is the same as it's American made brethren, and it is an amazing beast of an amp.

Maybe a stupid question.... Will this amp blow my speakers away?
I know the Lsi's dip down to 2ohm at times, which means 1600 watts! I just want to be sure before I make a large purchase.

The more wattage the better off you are. Speakers should be fine. I have Sunfire amp, 5200 model and it performs very well.

I just bought an older Grand Cinema with 405 wpc and it does a fantastic job with my SDA SRS 2.3TL's (moded of course). Sunfire amps are the only way to go!

The Grand Cinema is what first started my research on the Sunfire Amps, but I can't find one at the moment.

I have two Sunfire Cinema Grand Amplifiers and they are TOP Notch! I use them on my LSI 25/FX/C setup, waiting to pick up some 7's for the rear, ant that PSW1000 from cstmar01 and that should do it.

    My Pre-amp is a B&K Reference 50 S2

I definetly recommend the Sunfire Brand.

    How about I don't

Keep checking Audiogon. They come up often enough that you can fetch one.

Where are you located? If I see one as I browse i'll keep an eye out for you.

Current source outputs or voltage outputs for L/R, voltage source has a zero ohms, current source has a impedance of 1 ohm. What would be better for the 25's ?

Try both. Listen to each one for a week. Then go with the one you like better. This is very subjective and only you can determine this.

The Signature model amps are quite dear & difficult to find, but do pop up on a somewhat regular basis. The Cinema Seven (7 channel) is probably the most rare & command close to or over $2k on the used market. When you find one, just be sure to balance your price with the fact they are getting older now & may be due for cap replacement in the next couple of years. That would be determined by several factors including if they spent any time in storage, how hard driven, & the load they were driven into.
