You people are insane. Show me one scientific test that proves taste and aroma can be enhanced using these new toaster mods. You can't because they don't exist. Period. And don't tell me "it's the source," because in a double blind test that was performed at MIT the subjects weren't able to tell the difference between cheap Wonder bread and high-end Pepperidge Farms Split-Top loaf.

You need to take your anti-mod/anti-experience and go to another forum... another for the BOZO list!!!:wink::biggrin:

I went a different way for toasting, an infrared oven. That natural looking orange glow is to die for. Its digitally controlled but I don't think the analog radiator is affected by digital hash. Its also highly efficient. OK, so its less tricked out than the standard toaster because it doesn't have the bread transport, you have to lay the bread on the rack by hand. No auto eject either. I was willing to give up the thrills to get the best performance.

My motto is you get what you pay for most of the time $12.99 for protection is like relying on a condom that been your wallet since high school

Or maybe used once in high school and then put back in your wallet

I've used APC computer and audio protection products for 15 years and currently have about 2 dozen in my home and at client sites that perform as advertised.

I think the spike voltage might not of been high enough to activate the protection fast enough?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

If it cooks in 3.14 minutes...I'd call it pie and disqualify it...?

So what you are saying is if the toast cooks in 3.14 minutes in both toasters the toast will taste the same?

This thread has gotten funny. Toast, rubbers whats next? I once sold a rubber to a guy for $50. His girl was ready to go but he wasn't prepared.

How do you guys feel about all in one toasters? Microwave plus Toaster or do you still prefer separates?

I prefer my toaster to have meters.
