This is what they're showing in inventory:
Polk SDA-SRS 2.3 , Original price - $2200, used - $600, very good, 90 days, Hinsdale
Awesome find if they're in excellant condition and you live close enough for pickup. No excuses! -
Are they 1.2's or 2.3's? For that price, it might be worth the shipping. I might snag 'em. Man my ole lady is gonna kill me...:D
-
-
The site posted 2.3. So 2.3 is the correct model number. They had the manual as well.

Amulford,
You need to keep mad money stashed away so you can say you found them at the curb.
What's interesting is they appear to have a pair of CRS's as well. -
She wouldn't ever beleive it...:(
-
$600 for a pair of 2.3's and you guys aren't jumping on it?? Let some dust out of those wallets! For $300 a piece you can't find anything even close to the 2.3's. As a matter of fact you can't find anything close to them for $1000 a piece.Vinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want...

If anyone needs a Chicago contact let me know. My father lives there since he is retired, we could recruit him to pick them up.

Yeah Sean, I know. I'm gonna have to pass on these for now. When it rains it friggin' pours don't it??

I just called them. I spoke with Tom. He was a little besides himself at the prospect of boxing them up and shipping them. He suggested getting in touch with Polk to see if they had any old boxes, as they were traded in without their original boxes. Tom also commented that the speakers are both sonically and cosmetically in VERY good condition. He said that the tops appear to be relacquered. -
Ughhh ... Might be doable, but Polk doesn't list any boxes for these in the parts section ... blech.
Regarding the link I posted above about SRS 1.2 TL's above on the west coast, I checked with that guy and what he has are a pair of SDA - SRS's which sold for $1300 new. So unfortunately for those who might have been interested, it's the wrong product and it's over priced. -
PW,
Never noticed before, but the library has the wrong price on the original SRS's. They were $1295 each, not the pair.
ebay prices for the SRS's have ranged from $1500 to $2000.
You never posted the link. What's the left coaster asking?More later,
