Hi Guys,
Could someone please explain the term of IC jumper concerning speakers. I do I know what ICs between amp and pre would be an expensive jumper instead of using RCAs. Now in speaker terms do you first have to bond one speaker to another then run your gauge to the amp or am I totally off on this . If so clue me in so I know whats going on. It seems I need an interpiter for all these
abbreviations since I'm new to the puter in my old age. Thanks.
PS- Is there a site where you can compare speaker model w/ side by side comparision like Klipsch has, I'm not into the Polk line and would like to see the models and then stack them to against one another and then other brands.....LW

    This is only for SDA's
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

    Hello LW,
Maybe we can be of help. The connecting cables that run between a pre-amp and a power amp can be called lots of things. Some people call them "patch cords", some call them "RCA cables" other people use the term "IC" which means "interconnect cable". They come in a very wide assortment of styles and prices and what makes a good cable is a controversial subject, to say the least.
    I hope this is helpful.
    Cheers, Ken

    Hello,
I re-read your posting, actually a couple of times. Are you referring to the interconnect cable that links the left and right speaker in an SDA speaker?
If so, then that is unique to the classic Polk SDA speakers. They came in two configurations, one is the "twin-blade" and the other is the "pin-blade" and refers to the type of plug on the ends of the cable.
    Cheers, Ken
