I got a red Wii for Christmas.. and now I am looking for some fun games. I don't like shoot em up types.. i'm not very good at those. I like role playing and strategy and puzzle solving.

know of a place to buy used Wii games?

I like the Wii super mario.. I haven't been into one of those "Trade-A-Games" around town, but they have used games (there's one along Sprague, near Home Depot). I've also purchased some used games from Gamespot or Electronics Boutique (or whatever its called now) which are in the malls in town..

I highly recommend a game called De Blob!

It is an amazingly fun and addictive game, great use of the Wii remotes.

Raving Rabbids I and II. Didn't really get into 3, have just started the most recent. Super Mario Galaxy I and II have good sound and a mix of fun puzzles and insanely hard levels.

I'm enjoying Donkey Kong Country. It's difficult, but fun. I'd also recommend the New Super Mario Bros like others have suggested.

You don't like first-person-type shooter games or just shooting games in general?

House of the Dead 2&3 is pretty damn fun, and always a hit when I toss it on the Wii. I'd recommend the Nyko gun accessory over any other one. They're cheap, and use the appropriate button for shooting. Found that out the hard way when I bought the gun accessory that Gamestop had to offer. The 'normal' trigger utilized the A button and the trigger underneath used the appropriate B button (which is your trigger in HotD). Made it awkward playing the game, so off I went to buy another Nyko gun.

Btw, you can find the game for 10-15 bucks used (or 20 new) and each gun is only 12 bucks.

Mario and DKC have both been in constant rotation for me and I'm new to Wii.. coming to it from the classic consoles like NES and SNES.

waiting for the new Zelda to come out.. some time this year.. keeping my fingers crossed.. Skyward Sword.

it's the reason i went with Wii over the other two consoles. Suppose to be a Nintendo only release.

While your waiting on Zelda, may as well pick up the Xbox 360 and join us. Quite a few of us on there playing Black Ops and other games.
