Trying to figure out what to buy

I am new to this site and really excited to set up a somewhat decent home theater. I currently have a mix match system that consists of Polk R10 for fronts and surround speakers with a JBL Front and Sub. To me it sounds ok but I know I am missing out.

I just recently bought a CS20 center to replace my current center and I am trying to figure out what to do with the fronts. I was really thinking of going with TSI 400s, due to the thought of bigger is better. But everything I am reading online leads me to believe that I might be better suited to use Polk TSI 200s for fronts. I don't use my theater area for music what so ever and I love to feel like I am right in the middle of the action on a movie. I am using a Kenwood receiver that is 100w x 7.1 and I am only using 5.1 right now.

The room that I am using the speakers in my basement and the theather area is approximately 15' x 14'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Well, ideally the front Left / Right and Center speakers should be from the same line (ie. voice / timbre matched). FYI, your surround receiver is probably not putting out 100w x 7 with all the speakers attached..it's some fraction of that.

But back to your question - TSi series speakers or perhaps Monitor series (ex. Monitor 70 series II on newegg.com) would match your CS20 center.

I would think that the TSi400s would be better than TSi200s. Otherwise, they're using the same drivers and tweeters.

But I only have experience with Monitor 50s and the RTi / RTi A towers/bookshelfs so I'll let one of the others comment on that..
    Dali Optikon 1Mk2
    NAD D3020 V2
    Schiit Bifrost 2/64

    ..the rest are headphone setups.
