I have no experience with Parasound processors such as yours but I think very highly of their amps and recent preamps. Well made, well designed equipment. Looking at this I would love to hear what you think of it. about 11 years old with a tuner but they kept it upgradeable for expansion with the 5.1 analog outputs. Uses only 24 bit Moto dacs but they were good dacs in their time. Depending what you paid I would say you have a nice find.Pair it with a good amp it should sound nice. Maybe somone hear has owned this and can give their two cents.
Here is the OEM page on it:

Whatever you choose, make sure you don't go higher than the "802s" (801s have too much bass) and get a mono-block amp for each Bowers and Wilkins you decide to go with.

What are you talking about? seems off topic.

I ran one of these units for several months early last year. It was a great unit and had superb sound quality. I liked it very much, downside may have been the lack of bass management. Mine blew a power supply and now sits in a box..sad.

sounds like i made a good choice, the price was $270 with The original box, owners manual, remote, and calibration microphone. i will be using it with a carver av806x amp and monitor 12s. i may swap it with my sunfire tg2 to see what it sounds like with my LSi setup first. sorry to hear about your power supply.

It's a great unit, superb sound and would put it in the same class as the C2 that replaced it. $200 to replace the power supply, I moved on instead. You got a good deal for sure. Enjoy!
