What type of banana plug should I choose? An open screw style or closed screw style?

Xhadow banana plugs are a great option if you dont mind paying a lot.

Furez are a great budget option and they are pure copper.Stay away from the cheap plated garbage.
Silver plated copper is ok though.Thats what I used to terminate my speaker cables.

These are the one's I'm using the most now a days. the 1260's.... but the little set-screw down ones 356's above them are pretty good for the price also.

I just installed some solder plugs from DH Labs, and they are great as well. Gold over pure copper and they work very well.

I currently have spade ends that I do not want to cut and am looking for a banana adapter that can connect to the spades and be used accordingly with my gear.

What is a good one for connecting to spades?
